It’s official, Messi’s turning up. The firm Celebrity Management Group has announced that it is bringing Lionel Messi and the Argentinean team to Kolkata to play a Fifa friendly with Venezuela on 2 September. This is a coup, so we spoke to CMG to find out more about the process of bringing over the world’s best footballer. “We checked what dates the Argentina team was available and then approached the Argentinean Football Association,” says Dharamdutt Pandey, partner, CMG. “They laid down their terms and conditions, which are mainly financial and related to the quality of infrastructure.
