A whole exhibition devoted to grass. Of the smoking variety. And legal too.
A whole exhibition devoted to grass. Of the smoking variety. And legal too. At the International Cannabis and Hemp Expo held in Northern California last week, the most popular tent was arguably the Prop 215 tent, where attendees equipped with medical marijuana cards could light up legally. After four years of wrangling with officials, the Expo’s organisers obtained permission for on-site pot-smoking at the event. With around 150 exhibitors showcasing their wares and pitching their services, the technology on display put traditional bongs and chillums far behind. On display was Big Bud, priced at $59,990, a grow room encased in a 53 foot truck trailer, designed for cultivating marijuana. It came equipped with a plant cloning station, carbon air scrubbers, and a remote surveillance system that you can monitor via your iPhone.
