Eat, drink, shuck, dance. Come 30 October, for two days, Mumbai’s wine aficionados will be in a clink in D’Monte Park. As The Bandra Wine Tasting Festival reappears in its second avatar, everything promises to be bigger and better. Festival coordinator B Shankarnarayan says, “We have more than 60 wines. These include young 2010 vintages to reserves.” Food couplings include oysters by the bucket, tapas and a cheese bar. Chefs holding sway will include Asha Khatau and Michael Swamy. Be there anytime from high noon to sunset. At Rs 500 per person, you get a souvenir wine glass, 20 complimentary tasting coupons and Indian Wine Guide.
