Takin, the legendary goat-antelope thought to be extinct in India, has been seen in Arunachal Pradesh. The sighting gives hope that the species, which is the national animal of Bhutan, may still survive in the Indian wilds. A team of wildlife specialists from various Indian institutes is in Arunachal to find out the exact number of Takins there.
