This is an argument that meat-eaters will relish making. Turns out, vegetarians are prone to early onset of mental disorders such as dementia and Alzheimer’s due to Vitamin B-12 deficiency. Eggs, fish, meat, milk and its products are rich in Vitamin B-12. Commenting on the phenomenon, Praveen Gupta, consultant neurologist at Artemis Health Institute in Gurgaon, says, “Deficiency of Vitamin B-12 can reduce working capacity of the brain and result in progressive memory loss that has an impact on day-to-day activities.” Sounds familiar, no?
